About DDMFA

Welcome to Dumfries & District Music Festival - also known as perform in Dumfries -which is affiliated to The British & International Federation of Festivals.

Our Festival is competitive and includes Music and Speech. All of our competitors are amateurs.

Our competitions currently take place in March in Dumfries and provide a platform for our talented youngsters and adults.

The competitors are given positive feedback about their performance from well-qualified adjudicators, together with pointers and encouragement on how to improve their skills.

The Festival is organised entirely by volunteers and anyone wishing to help in any way is warmly invited to get in touch via this website.
